It was India versus South Africa and the men in blue made sure that the blue army was not kept disappointed, the match was owned by the Indian bowling attack.  The spell started with Bhuvneshwar Kumar who ceded 44 runs in 10 overs taking 2 wickets with an economy rate of 4.40. But it was Jaspreet Bumrah who made sure that the most dangerous men were sent to pavilion without any hassle, Bumrah with his 2 wickets of Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock in 10 overs ceded just 35 runs with an economy rate of 3.5.

The unsung hero of the match remains Yuzvendra Chahal with his 10 over spell taking 4 wickets and giving in 51  runs, was responsible for the return of du Plessis , van der Dussen , David Miller and Phehlukwayo. Last but not the least Kuldeep Yadav giving away just 46 runs with an economy rate of 4.6 taking away J.P. Duminy’s wicket in his kitty. The mighty chokers crumbled at a below average  total of just 227 runs in 50 overs .

It wasn’t much of a difficult target for the men in blue. While both Dhawan and Kohli got out early Rohit Sharma stayed not out scoring a patient 122* in 144 balls hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes . K.L Rahul and MSD scored 26(42) and 34(46) respectively while Hardik Pandya finished it off in style hitting 3 fours scoring 15* in 7 balls.
