• Confessions of a shopoholic- Revolving around our protagonist Rebbeca Bloomwood who is deep in the debt of credit card company because of her extravagant shopping trips, this movie is a must watch. Rebbeca ends up writing for a magazine as a finance columnist under an alias. Her struggles with her life style and debts while she goes around pretending to be a perfect person to ask for advice is really story to watch.
  • When in Rome– It’s Rome and it’s our protagonist Beth’s younger sister’s wedding. Rome wasn’t built in a day and so isn’t our protagonist’s romance. A wishing fountain and the search of the perfect suitors makes Beth takes a hilarious journey which can never bore the viewers. Make sure you watch this flick.
  • Just my luck – We are talking about Rom-coms and we don’t talk about Lindsey Lohan??? Are you kidding me. Can luck change it’s favor? Could you be the luckiest person on the planet and suddenly your hair gets stuck in the hair dryer and you end up losing your job? That’s exactly what happens to our poor Lindsey in this movie.
  • The parent trap– We cannot not mention this Disney flick while we talk about Rom-coms. Lindsey Lohan in double role as twin sisters Hallie and Annie who are seperated at birth due to their parents. The sisters reunite at a summer camp and plan to set a trap for their parents to reconcile again.
  • 500 days of summer– This is my personal favorite on the list. The idea that love can happen anywhere, anytime in any way especially when you least expected it to turn up is the main idea of this film. Zooey Deschanel’s flawless acting makes it a treat to watch.
